File Sharing Community and Network - Music++
I want to start a new file sharing network and community for sharing files. I created a group on facebook, but currently I left facebook so we can use another website for communication, exchanging ideas and developing the source code. I want to create a group of people who want to share files, music, songs, movies, software, books or any files. I believe files represent ideas and sharing ideas is a basic freedom and right we all have. I also want to create a new website or software for file sharing. I’m looking for people who want to contribute. I want everything to be open source and legal but I do think we all have the right to copy and share information and files. Good artists want people to listen to their music and don’t demand people to pay before they listen. Good artists don’t sue their fans and good artists don’t try to make millions on behalf of their fans.
My vision is to create a file sharing community and platform for free and open file sharing which nobody will be able to stop. It will not be owned by any company or person and not located in any country and the source will be open. Something like emule + bit-torrent + youtube + napster + facebook + myspace + linux but completely free and open source. A completely free platform for exchanging ideas, information, music and files! I also want it to have web interface so people will not be required to install any software to use it.
I already have a technical idea how I want it to work, also legally everything should be legal. I need help in coding and also recruiting more people to the community. My final vision is to have file sharing available on the web, on many websites and not one single website. If you search for music you will be able to find people who have it and download it for free. I think the bit torrent protocol is good but the problem is finding the torrents. Also you need to install software, many people don’t want to install software and look how popular webmail is today. I’m also using webmail and actually I don’t have any working computer right now and use only public computers. I also need information about what good open source programs there is for exchanging files and ideas, messages etc. We can build a program that will be able to connect to other popular programs people already have. I want to have both web interface and the ability to download a program with more advanced features, the web interface will also be open source like WordPress and people will be able to install it on their websites. It will NOT be possible to remove specific files or music and the whole system will be based on encryption. If you search for Beethoven you will find Beethoven and if you search for Mozart you will find Mozart and if you search for Madonna or Eric Clapton you will find them too. The software will not know any specific composer or artist and will not include any musical files. It will just be an interface to help people share ideas and music and files. If you’re looking for people who like the same music as you do you have the right to search for them and connect to them, see what music they like and show them what music you like. It’s not only music buy ANY subject we want and that’s why I said music++. People will use this program and websites to write what they like (much like facebook) and let other people contact them if they want to. It will also contain anti-spam features so that people who use this network will not receive too much spam. Actually I also want to enable using this network anonymously and exchanging files and ideas without having to expose any information about yourself. I believe in freedom of speech and I think freedom of speech means freedom to exchange any files and ideas.

Hi Guru, I am glad I pressed harder enough until I found free music downloads file sharing, because this post on File Sharing Community and Network - Music++ was extremely helpful. Just last Thursday I was pondering on this quite a bit.

Hello Expert, I fell lucky that I located this post while browsing for free music from napster. I am with you on the topic of File Sharing Community and Network - Music++. Ironically, I was just putting a lot of thought into this last Monday.
